Disney Parks 2007 We've been looking forward to going back to the Disney parks for some time now. Last fall and spring, it was pregnancy keeping us from making the trip. Honestly, we could have gone then too, but it's no fun if someone has to skip many rides. Now that Drew is big enough, we got our chance! This page will cover all four Disney parks we visited between October and December. Click on a thumbnail below for the full size / quality picture.
Animal Kingdom We went to Disney's Animal Kingdom today, 10/13/07. Not only was this Drew's first visit to a Disney theme park, but he also got to ride the Kilimanjaro Safari! Unfortunately, our camera is finally dying after 3-1/2 years of faithful work and tens of thousands of great pictures taken. The photos are purposefully smaller in this batch, as I was doing my best to work around some of the issues in post processing. Never fear... a new, more powerful model will soon take it's place! EDIT: I called Canon just to see how much the repair might cost. It turns out the problem is due to a faulty part and is covered under a no time limit warranty! They are repairing it for free including shipping both ways. Way to go Canon! We still have a newer model camera coming, but now Schley & Marcus will get more time behind the lens for a change.
Epcot On November 3rd, we enjoyed pleasant weather during our visit to Epcot. The new Canon camera was being put to good use as well! ;)
Disney-MGM Studios On December 1st, beautiful weather and the Osbourne Family Spectacle of Lights made for a great visit to Disney-MGM Studios. The name will be changing on January 1st, 2008 to Disney's Hollywood Studio, for those that weren't aware.
Magic Kingdom On December 22nd, we made our way down to the Magic Kingdom for some Christmas time fun. The weather was much cooler and cloudier than expected, but things warmed up in the afternoon.
We enjoyed our trip the the Disney parks this year and are already looking forward to the next visit!
