The Ship - "Mariner Of The Seas"

We can't say enough wonderful things about our cruise aboard Royal Caribbean's new voyager class ship, "Mariner Of The Seas". It was really beautiful from bow to stern, and filled with a truly professional, personable crew. There was always something fun and unique to do, regardless of your age or interests. You know, fun things like; Food, musicals, full size basketball court, comedy, food, ice skating shows, casino, in line skating, swimming pools, food, movies, rock climbing wall, miniature golf course, shopping in the 2 football field long promenade mall, parades, food, hot tubs, watching the ocean, game shows and contests, and did I mention the food? Yes, it was wonderful and plentiful as you can imagine.

It is 1,020 ft. long, 159 ft. wide, has 15 passenger decks that reach 214 ft. above the water, and weighs in at 140,000 tons. To put that into perspective, it's over 3 1/3 football fields long (taller than the Empire State Building if stood on end). The largest air craft carrier in the world weighs about 100,000 tons. They serve an average of 17,000 meals per day. The main theater holds almost 1400 people. The ship holds between 3,114 and 3,800 passengers and 1,200 crew members as well.

We really enjoyed the elegance, unique fun, and of course all the pampering! We are looking forward to our next cruise already!
